Last Fri after Yoga, I had nasi lemak dinner with CC friends at Changi V late in the night. And after that, we decided to go Geylang to see see. Along the way, we drove past Duman High..

I was at the CC office, sitting at one of the tables and saw lotsa quotes! I was looking at those quotes, feeling more and more hopefully. My CC friend commented that I looked as though I have found hope and totally inspired.

Thurs I went Bugis to watch Pink Panther 2. While waiting for the showtime, I went to MPH and saw this kid's book.

Earl the dog and Mooch the cat are good friends. Mooch wants to give Earl a present. But Earl has everything that a dog could possibly want. Mooch thinks hard and comes up with the answer. He will give Earl nothing!

If you think nothing is easy to find, then you are wrong. Mooch heard someone saying, "there is nothing for me to buy at the supermarket!" So, he rushed to the supermarket but found alot of things on the shelf! How can there be nothing to buy there?

Finally, he thought of the solution. He prepared a box. An empty box. But he changed to a bigger box so that he could give Earl a bigger nothing!

Earl received the present happily and opened the box.

Earl, "Nothing?"

Mooch, "Yes, nothing but you and me!"

On 16th, I woke up super early. I went to Jurong Point to collect my cake. Then I realised the Icing Room is actually BreadTalk. No wonder the cake is more ex. But I was quite impressed by the presentation of the cake. And I was allowed to choose my own ribbon for tying the box. :)

The cake is damn heavy. I know its 2kg only. How I wish I could hug it or carry it with both hands. It felt as though I was carrying dumbbells with one hand. And while walking, I was imagining, what if I trip and fall. What if someone pushes me. Totally paranoid. I dont want smashed cake on my face for my bday.

Luckily the cake was still nice and cold after 3 hours including the bumpy and humid ride on bus 179 to school. And I quite like the cake, its nice. :)

Surprise from supernova peeps posted @

On 15th night at around 11pm, when I was about to prepare my presentation for the next day, came a huge surprise. I was asked to open my door and I was expecting that few of them when walking towards the door. In the end, the moment I opened the door, I saw 6 of them! And the moment I opened the door, they started singing happy bday song, like caroling.

Thank you for the present and surprise! Appreciate it! :)

my bday celebration with daddy and mummy :) posted @

On the 15th, Sunday, my parents brought me to East Coast park for dinner as my bday celebration. It felt as though I havent been joining them for dinner for very long! Or perhaps we havent been going out far together. We always have dinner at 85 market. Thats the furthest for the past months I think.

Didnt managed to take pictures of the food because we were all hungry. Whenever I thought of taking, the food were almost finished.

Was trying to take a pic of the 3 of us myself. A kind old man nearby saw and offered his service.

His photography skill is good! I love this picture alot! I developed it today, put it on my piano and a smaller pic for my wallet. I feel very blissful and grateful for the love and care my daddy and mummy have showered on me for the past 22 years. My happy family.... :)

On Fri, met up with Joyce and Fengzhi. Fengzhi is flying soon.. on Monday. :(

We met up for dinner at Marina @ Keppel Bay.

Bumped into our pri school friend Eugene and his gf. And we saw another interesting couple.

The main focus in this pic is not me but the touchy couple behind. I am just the prop.

And for this pic, the prop requested that I cropped her away.

And the night ended off with nice walk and nice chit chat. :)

CNY dinner @ YT house 070209 posted @

Last Saturday had primary school CNY Dinner gathering at Yin Ting's place. It's so hard to gather all of us. And I am so glad that this time round, quite a number turned up! Though only Kingsley came from the guy's side, almost all the usual girls turned up I think. And it has been a long time since I last met up with Jennifer and Joan. The last time I saw them was during JC days.. which is 3 years ago?

Joyce and I went over to Fengzhi's place to make jellies as dessert for the dinner. I really thought the 3 of us will make a huge mess, but all turned out pretty well.

After dinner, all of us walked to Eastpoint to rent DVD. It's like the excursion we had during primary school days, to the Zoo, Science Centre, Bird Park etc. We rented Kungfu Panda and after the show, we gambled. It's my first time gambling with them. And I seldom gamble with friends. The feeling is just different as compared with gambling with relatives.

Wednesday I met up with the girls for kboxing! It's so hard to arrange a date and I think thats why all our meet-ups always end up with having lotsa laughter and fun and... arranging for the next meet-up!

Tues I went for tuition. Was preparing to get out of my house, my tutee called and asked if she could change today's tuition to tomorrow. I was immediately pissed. Tuition supposed to be on Wed. But Wed I couldnt make it so I changed to Tues. And now she happily called and asked if Wed I am free.

In the end, she changed her school remedial and my tuition remained. :)

After tuition, I took this bus 66, supposed to bring me to PS and I will take a train down to City Hall to meet Wilfred. I was in a rush for time yet the bus was crawling. It even made a super gigantic loop at Pipitt Road. And right after the loop, the bus broke down. So in the end, I took a cab down cos I got no idea where I was and how to get to City Hall.

Monday, I went to Istana for CNY Dinner. Luckily I wore formal abit. Was rather overwhelmed by the whole event and the security check. But the food was really good. :)
