These few days have been v peaceful. I have been getting my 8 hours of sleep daily and everything seems happier and more colourful to me. :) Sleep does matter, at least to me.
Just now I had a good laugh. I was with my mummy and saw a cute dog!
"Why is the dog like that?" (What I meant was why is the dog so cute?)
My mummy's reply, "I not DOG. Dont ask me!"
And she continued, "Aiya, U ARH! I not DOG, you ask me FOR WHAT?!?"
She is hilarious manz..
This has been my favourite song all the while.
"Smile"
Today is a very relaxing day. As you can see, I have the mood to blog. And my mummy just enlightened me. It's a relaxing day not because I have nothing to do. I have loads of things to do. It's because, my neighbours are out of town! I never knew how irritating they were til there is a comparison - when they are around and when they are not. When they are around, I am always feeling vexed, irritable and blah blah blah. But now, I am feeling cheery. :D
Let me analyse why they are irritating. The mummy is constantly shouting at them. The boy is crying at times. The girl is forever crying and yelling because the boy fights with the girl. The 3 of them like to race along the corridor. So from the lift which is their starting point, they will shout Go and start running. The kids' running is fine cos it's soft. But the mummy's running is horrendous. Ping-Ping-Pong-Pong. I dont understand why she must stamp her feet when she runs. It never fail to horrify me. Esp when I am doing my work, it really startles me with anger cos it breaks my train of thoughts.
But some amusing stuff about them. The 2 kids like to say hello to people. Whenever my other couple neighbours come home from work or leave for work, the 2 kids will greet them "hello!" "goodnight!" "have a nice day!". I think sometimes the 2 kids scare the couple cos they didnt expect the 2 kids to be waiting for them. I think it's not just amusing. It's amusingly irritating.
Some pics taken on Jinguang's bday last sunday.
I woke up this morning with the urge to decide on which breed of dog should I buy if I am going to buy one. Or rather, if I can buy one. My parents are so against the idea. They cant stand those non-movable pets of mine on my bed and have been threatening to throw them away. I dont think they will accept movable ones anytime soon. No, I think its forever. I read somewhere that we should let our children have pets so as to teach them how to care for others. So dont blame me if I am uncaring cos this opportunity is lacking for me to develop the trait.
Anyway, I shortlisted 3!
Japanese Chin
Hmm, they always say the owner will look like her dog. I dont think my eyes will suddenly enlarge by itself..
Papillon
Hmm.. I like the ears. Always upright standing, giving people the impression that she is delighted and energetic. But I dont think it will look nice on human.
Bichon Frise
Ooo, I like this! This looks like my bear sitting on my bed now.
And see how cute it is! If I trim her fur nicely, she will look like a furball! And I will tie a ribbon for her. I think I will be proud to bring her out for a walk.
Last Sat, I went back to RJ for CO Alumni practice. It has been a long time.. I was feeling a little nervous on the way to the school. I didnt know what to expect. No one was with me. I was going back alone. And I wasnt sure if the rest of the Alumni people other than the 3 from my batch were nice.
Starting from the train, memories kept flowing back. Changing train at City Hall, alighting at Bishan, walking along the road, crossing at the cross junction, the brick walls, the security guard, the classrooms, the way to CO room.. I kept thinking to myself, "I did that almost everyday in the past? How did I get to school in the past? How did I get to the CO room? I really went for CO practice every week?"
I vaguely remember bits of it. But the memory isnt just as clear and detailed as what I would expect. Perhaps because we were at the Bishan campus for a year only.
But it's nice getting back all these lost memories..
I remember my SO3A classroom is up there..
The canteen...
The way to exam hall..
Staff office and library block..
CO room...
Usually I wont take that long to blog. This time round, blamed it on the quiz, presentation and case write-up.
During recess week, Wednesday, I met up with Wendy, Toon Li and En Qi for lunch before I rushed off for tuition. After tuition, I went back home to pack my bag before meeting the girls again at the airport to send Alphonsus off. And we stayed over at Wendy's place. =)
I missed the home cooked dinner at Wendy's house so they tabao for me. :)
Friday, after my Yoga lesson, I went to airport again to send Wendy off.
