It's the 6th day after my exams! I am enjoying myself so far. But there are still lotsa chores yet to complete. For example, getting rid of the virus or whatever in my lappie and desktop, tidy up my wardrobe etc.

Here's the pics taken on my daddy's bday! :D

During the day time, I accompanied my mummy to her medical appointment and shopping for daddy's present. Evening time, we met my daddy for dinner at ecp Jumbo Seafood. :D

The last time we went there for my bday, we sat in the restaurant. This time round, we are smarter. We chose the table outside so that we can enjoy the seabreeze.

Ohhhhh, I bought this slipper on Thurs and I love it to the core. Have been wearing it though the weather is freaking hot. I dont care, its nice!

One of my relatives cant close his eye because of some nerve problem. Doc said he will recover in few months' time. Its my first time hearing such thingy. Anything can just happen out of the blue unexpectedly which affect our lives significantly. Life is just so vulnerable.

Anywayz, the relative called to chit chat with my mummy. After their conversation ended, I was telling my mummy that I dont know how to address this relative of mine. My aunts have been calling him lin giou (lin gee-o). So when he called, I almost called him that too.

Out of curiosity, I asked my mummy if thats his real name. My mummy said his real name is han xing.

"HUh, then what does lin giou mean?"

"neighbour's dog."

"!!!!! then what about the name in his NRIC?"

"he puts lin giou."

"!!!!!!"

So funny!

And my daddy has friends by the name of ah gao (dog), ang giao (red cat), hong bi zi (red nose cos his nose is permanently red in colour. When my daddy calls them on the phone or when he mentions them, its just so funny. I remember I went to China with hong bi zi b4. Luckily I was too young to realise such things. If not, I will be bursting into laughter infront of his face.

Every sat when my mummy comes back from my grandma' place, she will stand at my study room door and complain. Because I wrote about her here and my aunt Karen will tease her when they meet at my grandma's house every sat.

Last sat, my mummy said she will turn nasty if I write about her again.

But today.. something happened which made me burst into laughter for quite a while.

I was with my mummy at NTUC. She dislikes me accompanying her to NTUC. Cos I will make alot of remarks like, "Can we gooooo?", "Huh, u still choosing fish ah?", "I want to watch the show" etc.

And we came to the frozen packaging section. I saw instant Har Gau and made a casual remark that I like Har Gau.

" U like, then u marry har gau lor!"
"???!?" "How to marry har gau?"
"U tell har gau, "Har Gau, I love you very much." and then, many many many har gau will come and surround u. like the ping pong balls."

I almost rolled on the floor. After I stopped laughing, I will ask her to tell me how to marry har gau all over again and I will start laughing all over again.

On the way back, I was complaining that the NTUC plastic stuff very heavy.

"Ask your har gau to come and carry it for you lor."
"How many har gau do i need?"
"Many many many."

It's my last 4th day in NTU! I am having my last 311 lesson and Shakuhachi exam on Monday. And it will be study break till 15th April. By then, it will be my 311 exam followed by 301 exam on 16th April! Oh, and my convocation during July. My mummy has been looking forward to my convocation. She has been telling me that she wanna set her hair nicely, asking me to bring her shopping to buy a nice set of clothes for convocation and also for taking of family photo. And she said her current highly curly (afro) hair is not nice in photos, she has decided to perm those wavy curls which will appear nicer in the photos.

I realised my uni friends are always reluctant to do stupid poses. So weird! My other friends like Enqi, Toonli, Wendy, Joyce, Fengzhi etc are absolutely fine with it and we enjoy entertaining ourselves with these poses.

Angela said this looks like "grabbing breast" pose.. HAHA! I think Wenxia and I dont look like we are grabbing breast. But the rest of them do! Especially Angela. Obviously they misunderstood the meaning of the pose. It's supposed to be "Tadah! Surprise!" kinda pose.

After much persuasion, the rest of them finally agreed to do this pose individually. But in order not to embarrass them, I shall not pose theirs here. HAha.

No matter how hard I taught them, they still cant do a perfect hamburger face. I miss Toonli's..

My mummy is so funny! Just now we bought some cakes, she told the auntie she wants CONE! WAHAHA! What she meant was CORN cake. On the way back, I was teaching her.

"Sweet?" "CONE"

"Ice cream?" "CORN"

And this goes on all the way back home. Sometime she gets it, but after swtiching between the two, she gets mixed up again.

Some pics over the past 2 days. Monday I took some pics with my groupmates and some random pics of people in my seminar group.

My prof said he doesnt want to appear in any of the blog. Haha..

Tues, I went for Shakuhachi lunch time concert. Oh, and I went for oxygen face spa too. It's quite fun! The therapist put some steam machine over my face. I dont know if it's oxygen but I kept thinking it is. I started to be very self conscious, kept feeling if I have any breathing difficulty or hyperventilation. Luckily the machine thingy lasted for a few mins only. If not I will get up and maybe put my arms or legs under the machine instead.

Thats my Shakuhachi teacher. I think he is handsome and manly!
