My iPhone silent button fell off. I went to ComCentre to get it repaired. And guess what. They replaced the entire phone for me. They gave me a new iPhone! So nice of them! Before that, I even brought another phone out in case I gotta leave my iPhone there for repair.
I was at the queue getting queue number. The queue wasnt moving at all cos this lady at the counter was asking the receptionist how to use iPhone. Everyone in the queue was rather impatient and pissed off. The queue was getting longer and longer, way longer than the queue for non iPhone users. I guess people are just plain lazy. They dont wanna read manual or go to apple website to watch the demo. They just want the shortest way out. Benefitting themselves at the expense of other people's time. So irritating.
Many people always questioned, "iPhone good meh?" My ans is yes! Not only because they replaced the whole phone for me okay. Because.. I can add applications as and when I want. Some applications are really useful for me like those that allows me to keep track of my expenses. And I can simply upgrade my software from apple website. The new 3.0 allows MMS and some other improvements.
Out of the blue I realized I had enough of sleeping on the floor. The very next day, I went to Ikea with my mummy for lunch and bought this net thingy to contain my soft toys. My heart was aching when I was squeezing those soft toys that I treasure more through the small opening into the net.. namely those at the bottom cos I ranked them according to my preference. I know I am biased. I have always been. Haha. Anywayz, they are at the bottom so that I can take them out easily and it's within my vision.
Sat, I went Jurong Bird Park with Wan Li. Super long queue cos it's actually a blood donation event. The journey to Boon Lay.. omg.. I dont know if I should feel terrible or excited. But the moment I alight and stepped into the bus interchange, memories of my NTU days just flashed back scene after scene. I do miss those days.
We did hanna on our leg. =)
This pic was taken during the free photo taking session and HP only printed one for us. I gave them my camera memory card, requesting them to print for me one more so that Wan Li and I can have one each, they printed for us 5 pics including other pics in my camera. So nice of them. =)
Some irritating indian men came knocking against Wan Li and just knocked us out so that they could watch the bird show. So rude of them. I feel like scratching them from behind with my nails. HAha.
At night, we celebrated Desmond and Jia Jin's bday @ Geylang Yong He. And we sang bday song for them there too. =)
Sunday, I had tuition with the little girl again. She is irritably cute.
" Teacher, how come your cheeks got holes? What are they?"
"Pores."
"What's inside?"
"OIL LAH!"
She really got a shock and responded with a disgusted "EEEEK!"
I was speechless.
After tuition, I headed to airport to see Jason off. Guess it's all the past sending-offs that sorta made me more immune to emotional attack. But imagining myself flying off to study for one year or so, nono, I think even two months, it still made me feel that it's impossible. I dont think I am strong enough to do that. There are so many things in Singapore that are holding me back.
Some random pics my mummy and I took at Parkway Parade. I asked her to take for me. Either it's blur or the angle sux OR the pic just captured my face only. Totally not satisfactory. See how nice hers is. Cos it's taken by me.
Some of the pics taken on Fri with Mian, Hoi Fai and Wilfred at Geylang. There were no ladies at all. I could easily count using my ten fingers. All of a sudden, Geylang gives me a more toned down feel.
My daddy left for China and HK on Sat! I didnt cry at all. Thats the condition set by my daddy if I wanna send him off. Haha. I guess I will embarrass him if I were to make a scene at the airport infront of the other 4 uncles. Somemore the 4 uncles were all from notable backgrounds. They might think I am ridiculous esp when my daddy is going to be away for 4 days only. No one sent them off except my mummy and I. Guess that's already a teeny weeny embarrassing for him. Haha. My nose turned a lil sour-ish when he was going through the automated check in. Thats all.
Sat afternoon, I rushed to Orchard to meet Joshua and Christine. Havent seen Christine for 4 years I think. Its a pleasant meet up! =) After which I had 5 hours to spend at Orchard! So I went shopping and Joshua tagged along.
Evening, I met Wan Li for dinner at PS Cafe. =) We are going Jurong Bird Park on coming Sat! =D
My daddy just came back! I was so looking forward to him coming back, =) Luckily it's only 4 days. My mummy and I went to pick him up at the airport. As usual, no one else except my mummy and I did that. I was telling my mummy that the other uncles might think that we got nothing better to do. Haha. But I dont care. I just wanna fetch daddy back home. He bought heavenly portugese egg tarts from Macau. *melts*
I really love my dudu alot. I think she is v v v cute. I will randomly tell random people that. And the biggest victim is my mummy. She will reply me, "ARE YOU MAD?"
Cos she has been irritating me and I will reply, "are you mad?" So she copied me!
Guess alot of people dont know, we address each other as Madam. It started with our Indian Yoga teacher. Cos my mummy sux at yoga especially when we first started, the Indian teacher will always call out to her as Madam. Actually not her only, its just his way of addressing women. But somehow my mummy kena the most. HAHA. And his "Madam" is not normal "Madam". Its with quite a strong accent. It sounds like "MA-DEM".
So today, I kept calling her madam this madam that till she was quite annoyed and asked me to Shut Up if not she will kill me! HAHA.
"MADAM, can you dont kill me?"
"MADAM, can you dont kill me?"
"MADAM, MADAM.. can you pls dont kill me?" (as you can see, I am just being plain irritating.)

"Madam is going to kill u." - My mummy.
I cant understand why people can just reply me saying they cant make it when I asked them about our date which have been previously confirmed. If its a mass meetup, your attendance is off no significance, that will be fine. But if only like 3 or 4 of us... at least have the decency to inform everyone ahead rather than waiting for someone to raise the topic up right? When someone raises the topic, it's to confirm the venue and timing already. Whats worst is there is no apologetic tone at all. I hate people who spoil my packed schedule. Pardon me cos I am rather pissed. As usual, my temper just come and go like a gust of wind.
Anywayz, it has been a long time since I last updated. Have been rather busy. Shall update my May/June based on the pics I have taken. Really cant remember what I did exactly daily.
On 2nd June Tues, I arranged a meet up with the yangqin peeps for Hoi Fai but only Mingli turned up. Pei Jun couldnt make it last min. Though it's just the 3 of us, it's a pleasant gathering. We had curry fish head and naan at Little India. It's my second time there and we shopped at Mustafa as well. I am beginning to like Mustafa. It has everything there. :)
Last Sat 30th June, I went back to perform for RJCO concert. We had been practising since March but did stop for quite some time for exam break. It's really enjoyable being able to go back and perform for rjco again. And really grateful that Joshua and Mu Dan were there as well if not I will be bored to death. I didnt know the rest of the juniors cos I have already left school when they just entered rj.
Can u spot me? The one behind the huge wooden instrument infront of the conductor.
Wan Li came to support and coincidentally Yew Thong also came. Xun Qi sold the tix to him. Havent seen Yew Thong since A level. Oh.. nono, we had a SO3A gathering before at MS.
Joshua refused to let me take the pipa for pic taking cos I am not pipa player. He really loves Pipa alot.
My junior Ming Jie. Havent seen her after I left RJ!
The Tanboyue!
Our sectional leader Yixuan, me and Mu Dan.
The other Yangqin player Zhao Meng. I really dont know her at all cos our age diff is 2 years. When she came into rjco, I just left. But she is good!
Marcus and me. I need to do something to my face, maybe get a tanned or what. Look at my face under flash, it's ghostly white.
My conductor.
The overall in-charge for this alumni item, zongjin.
My SO3A classmates! Wan Li, me, Yew Thong and Xun Qi.
After concert, Wan Li and I saw this huge logo and school name on the wall of the library building. We spent quite some time taking pics there. Not many chance to do that ok.
We had supper at cafe cartel. Didnt know they have such good deals at night! But the bread were being snatched away the moment the basket was being refilled. Wan Li went to collect the bread since I was wearing heels for the whole day. And she came back to our table with a few bread crumbs looking pissed. Cos the PRC didnt queued up and went infront of her taking all the bread, leaving only the ends and crumbs for Wan Li. I can totally visualise though I didnt witness it. Speaking from numerous personal encounters. If I can, I will stuff their mouths with bread crumbs.
On 31st May Sunday, my daddy fetched me to Serangoon Broadway Studio to collect my convocation gown. I saw this huge daddy bear in NTU Bachelor gown. So cute right? I asked my mummy to take a pic for me but was being stopped by the staff there saying I can take with hp but not camera. Whats the diff? Anywayz, my mummy managed to snap a pic while I was looking at the lady stopping us.
At evening time, the few of us went to see En Qi off. Everyone is flying all over. Where is my grad trip!? Haiz.
Such a coincidence, bumped into Emily, my dhsco senior. She is on the same flight as En Qi.
After that, Toon Li drove us to Sempang Bedok for supper. And she drove us home too. =)
Last Thurs 28th May, I met up with Mian, Wilfred and Hoi Fai for dinner at Thai Express and drink at Timbre. We opened one bottle of Vodka to realise that Hoi Fai cant drink. I guess one whole bottle is a lil too much for us.
Last Tues 26th May, I met up with Hoi Fai, Mian and Wilfred for the first time after my exam! Hoi Fai just came back and it nice going out together once again after the HK trip. We had dinner at Tamp 1.
And we had a drink at Oasis.
On the 16th, I went for DHS string ensemble concert cos Enqi, Toonli and Le jia were performing!
Pics taken on 13th May, a post bday celebration for Le Jia. =D
Thats the bday card for her! =)
